We have a speical guide with us for this trip, Adam Roberts. He has been a ride leader with us in Mallorca for many years, but is orginally from South Africa. His local knowlege will be an added bonus for this adventure. Bike rentals are a little hard to come by, so the best option is to plan on bringing your bike. La Cotte Farm is uniquely situated a stone’s throw from the charming village of Franschhoek. It offers close proximity to the fun and bustle of the main street with all the quiet, privacy, and rural charm of a working wine farm. La Cotte Farm dates back to 1698 when the first of the eleven Huguenot Farms was granted to the French immigrants who fled their native country during the 17th century. Today, the farm celebrates this rich heritage. As guests explore La Cotte, they will experience it, combined with a sense of contemporary luxury.

preparation for the Cape Cycle Tour. To ease you into the riding and loosen up the legs from the
long flight we will head out on the rolling foothills through vineyards and farmland toward Paarl.

that rises up to over 2000ft about sea level. We cross over the mountain, though the
Theewaterskloof towards Villiersdorp. Distance 60-70miles
March 5
After an easy morning recovery ride of about 35-miles morning, we'll board a private transfer to the Cape Winelands for leisurely exploration of the historic towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, where we'll enjoy wine tasting at local wine estates. The majestic scenery of the winelands is unparalleled- even if you don’t drink wine, the countryside and history make it well worth the visit. The favorable effects of the two major ocean currents meeting off the Cape makes the climate in the area perfect for the acres of vineyards. The stunning backdrop of the mountains, the tree-lined streets and the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads all blend in tranquil harmony. Lunch will be at one of the spectacular award-winning winelands restaurants.
March 6
After breakfast we will transfer to Cape Town, where and afternoon ride of around 30-35 miles
awaits. Taking in the unspoiled coastal views towards Oudekraal.

Afternoon at leisure and complete the day with a Sunset Champagne Boat Cruise (1½ Hours)
This 90 minute sailing trip takes you from the historic Victoria & Alfred Waterfront out to sea on a short cruise across the bay and back. The cruise provides spectacular mountain and city views as well as fantastic photographic opportunities of The Mother City with Table Mountain as a backdrop. They do not offer a specific destination. Typically they motor out of the Harbour and across Table Bay towards Milnerton lighthouse, then return to the protection of Granger Bay, providing fabulous Table Mountain and city views- a 'must do' trip whilst visiting Cape Town.
March 8
We will start the day with a very chilled morning cafe ride to rest the legs in preparation for the big ride the following day. We will ride along the beautiful coastline of Cape Town.
The morning cafe ride will be followed by afternoon cable-car visit up Table Mountain. Rising to just over one thousand meters directly from sea level, Table Mountain ranks in status alongside famous African giants such as Kilimanjaro and the Atlas Mountains. We will head to the top of Table Mountain in the aerial cable-way. This can take up to 60 people at a time and does a full rotation enabling guests to enjoy 360 degree views of Cape Town, Lions Head and the Mountain itself. Once on top we get away from the groups and meander along to Maclears Beacon, the highest point on Table Mountain.
March 9
