15 days. 80+ miles. The tallest mountains on Earth and the highest peak on the planet...
Join us in November, 2025 for an EPIC adventure- a Himalayan trekking experience to the very foot of Mount Everest.
Experience the culture and cuisine of Nepali mountain villages as we follow the classic trekking route of Sir Edmund Hillary on our way to Everest Base Camp. The sky-piercing peaks of the Himalayas will take your breath away as we make our way from village to village along this world-famous route.
This is a fully-immersive experience that rewards trekkers with views of some of the highest and most striking mountains in the world while also providing an inside look at the culture and customs of those who call these mountains home.
It is a trek unlike any other- and we're going!
This is not just a trek; it’s an opportunity to forge personal connections with fellow trekkers and locals alike. Our Nepali guide will share their rich culture, local legends and stories, enhancing your experience in this spectacular land.
As we navigate the rugged trails, we'll build lasting camaraderie with fellow adventurers, creating memories that will inspire and transform you.
This journey promises to be more than just a physical challenge; it will reshape how you see the world and your place in it.
The trip includes 9 days of trekking, plus 2 acclimatization days to adjust to the altitude. We'll hike 6-7 hours a day, at a comfortable and manageable pace. We'll be led by a local, multilingual guide who has completed this trek numerous times- he knows the locals and will provide cultural insight and information along the route. We will employ a porter service to transport our heavier overnight bags, meaning all we'll need to carry is a daypack with our daily essentials (layers, snacks, water, sun protection, etc.). We've taken care of all the details- all you have to do is HIKE!

TRIP NOTES
Be prepared to pay $50UDS (cash) for your tourist visa upon arrival at the Kathmandu airport. (Clean, crisp bills, no marks/tears.)
This adventure will require you to temper expectations regarding comfort and convenience. Prepare to be physically and mentally challenged. While we can expect to enjoy pleasant weather most days, nighttime temperatures can drop below freezing in the mountains. The sleeping quarters at the mountain lodges are not heated. Thick quilts will be provided to help keep you warm while you sleep. We will occasionally be staying at lodges where showers are not available. Wi-Fi and the availability of electricity can be sporadic. Menu variety will be limited at some of the more remote lodges. Although variations of the traditional Western-style toilets are the norm at most mountain lodges, squat toilets will occasionally be your only bathroom facility option along the route.
This is a challenging route at high altitude. While we have incorporated acclimatization days to allow our bodies to adjust to the elevation, being in good physical condition prior to your arrival in Kathmandu is essential. The better shape you are in, the quicker/easier your body will adjust to the elevation. Commitment to and execution of a strenuous training routine in the months leading up to the trek is imperative. If you need help/recommendations, contact us and we'll help design a program that works for you.
